Why do I have to do labs?
This document outlines the laboratory requirements for patients receiving prescriptions at RemedyMeds. Understanding these requirements is essential for ensuring safe and effective medication management.
Laboratory Testing Requirements
All patients are required to complete laboratory tests before receiving their third prescription. This protocol is in place to ensure that the prescribed medication is safe and effective for each individual patient.
Initial Lab Testing
In certain cases, based on the results of the medical intake quiz, some patients may be required to complete laboratory tests before their first prescription. This early testing helps providers make informed decisions regarding medication dosages and treatment plans.
Benefits of Laboratory Testing
Laboratory tests play a crucial role in the management of your treatment. They allow healthcare providers to:
Adjust medication dosages as needed based on test results.
Monitor patient health and response to treatment.
Lab Testing Options
We ask that you provide the A1C, TSH, CMP, and Lipid Panel results.
If you have had labs completed within the past 24 months, those results are acceptable.
If you don't have your own lab results, there's no need to worry about the expense—lab costs are covered for you! We partner with LabCorp, Quest, and BioReference (for patients in New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island).
